How to Help

INSPRING HOPE. ADVANCING SUPPORT. SHAPING TOMORROW.

Help us find our new Home

Support CICC Foundation in Upgrading Our Centre

For nearly 60 years, Centennial Infant and Child Centre (CICC) has supported children with special needs and their families—helping each child reach their full potential.

Today, we are taking the next step to ensure that this care continues for generations to come.

CICC is moving forward with a significant renovation and expansion of our current home—transforming our space to better meet the growing and complex needs of the children and families we serve.

This is a powerful investment in possibility, access, and lifelong impact.

A Future-Ready Centre

Guided by a comprehensive needs assessment from Montgomery Sisam Architects—leaders in children’s treatment and rehabilitation facilities—we are planning enhancements that will directly improve care, access, and experience:

Enhanced Learning Spaces

    • Larger, more flexible classrooms to support integrated care teams
    • Expanded gymnasium to accommodate mobility equipment and therapy needs
    • Modernized design and storage to better support daily programming

Improved Accessibility

    • Barrier-free access throughout the building
    • Safer, more efficient entry and exit points
    • Improved drop-off, parking, and overall flow for families

Safety and Functionality

    • Updated, secure entrance and improved crowd management
    • Dedicated space for volunteers and student placements
    • Increased storage and improved operational efficiency

Moving Forward: Powering Potential

After years of thoughtful planning and analysis, we are excited to move into the next phase of our Capital Campaign: Powering Potential.

We have committed to renovating and expanding our existing facility, and a dedicated subcommittee is now leading the next stage—establishing project management and overseeing the full scope of this transformational work.

With momentum building, we are energized by what lies ahead.

Together, we are creating a Centre that reflects the excellence of our programs and the potential of every child we serve.
