Every licensed child care centre in Toronto has access to an Every Child Belongs Resource Consultant. Resource Consultants are assigned to support a group of child care centres within a specific geographic area.

Executive Director
Our Executive Director, Shemina Ladak, is proud to lead the day-to-day operations of Centennial Infant and Child Centre, guiding the organization in alignment with the mission and strategic direction established by the Centre’s Board of Directors. In this role, Shemina fosters strong relationships with municipal and provincial governments to support the Centre’s ongoing impact. She also works closely with the Centennial Infant and Child Centre Foundation to help identify and support the Centre’s annual funding priorities.
Shemina Ladak

Shemina joined CICC in 2022. As a strategist and change leader, she brings more than 17 years of executive leadership experience in the not-for-profit, academic and profit sectors with a focus on stakeholder relations, inclusion, governance, capacity building, and creating opportunities for growth and innovation.
Shemina’s career journey includes serving as a Program Director with a Child and Youth Development organization, Executive Officer at the Aga Khan Council for Ontario, Manager of Advancement at Bow Valley College, and Director of Administration at Havergal College. Shemina also sits on the York Region District School Board and the Social Welfare Board of the Aga Council for Ontario.
Shemina holds a diploma in Early Childhood Education, a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Business Administration.
